[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Woori Financial Group announced on the 25th that it conducted a non-face-to-face special lecture titled 'Digital Inside' for Chairman Sohn Tae-seung and the holding company executives to enhance digital mindset and spread the culture of digital transformation (DT).

The special lecture held on the 24th of this month covered various theoretical and case study topics in specialized digital fields of the 4th Industrial Revolution, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud, MyData, Open Application Programming Interface (Open API), Big Data, Smart Banking, Blockchain, Payment, and Digital Trends.

In particular, Chairman Sohn and the executives had the opportunity to communicate with young employees working in the field and to approach digital areas in an easy and friendly manner.

Through this, Woori Financial plans to enhance understanding and familiarity with various digital technologies and services even among executives who are not in charge of the relevant tasks, aiming to complete this year's management strategy of 'Digital Number One Leap.'

Previously, Woori Financial has been operating digital reverse mentoring, Woori Digital Insight, and joint training on big data and AI with KT to strengthen the digital capabilities of its employees.

This year, the group plans to accelerate efforts to enhance employees' expertise in new digital technologies and trends through industry-academia collaboration.
