Hyundai Motor Company Launches 2021 Porter II... "Enhanced Safety and Convenience Features"

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Hyundai Motor Company launched the small truck '2021 Porter II' on the 25th, enhancing safety and convenience.

Hyundai significantly expanded the safety features, which were previously optional, in the 2021 Porter II. In particular, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and Lane Departure Warning are now standard on all trims.

Additionally, safety and convenience features that were previously standard only on higher trims have been extended to lower trims, greatly improving safety and convenience.

The differential lock, previously applied only to the Premium and Modern trims, is now available on the Smart trim, and the ventilated driver's seat, which was only available on the top-tier Premium trim, is now standard on the main Modern trim.

In the Double Cab model (which increases passenger capacity beyond the driver and front passenger seats), the second-row power windows, previously available only on the Premium and Modern trims, have been extended to the Smart trim.

The price for the 2WD extra-long Super Cab with a 6-speed manual transmission is ▲Style 17.05 million KRW ▲Smart 17.75 million KRW ▲Modern 18.77 million KRW ▲Premium 19.90 million KRW.

A Hyundai Motor Company official said, "The 2021 Porter II has improved product competitiveness by actively reflecting customer needs," adding, "Since safety and convenience features, which were highly preferred by existing customers, have been greatly increased, we expect customer satisfaction to rise even further."
