[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Choyoung] Another allegation has emerged accusing Alexander Wang (37), the world-renowned fashion designer from the United States, of sexual harassment.
On the 24th (local time), the British public broadcaster BBC reported that Kitten Bullrun, a college student studying interior design at Parsons School in the U.S., claimed she was sexually harassed by Wang at a club in New York last August.
According to the report, Wang met Bullrun around 11:30 PM on August 24 last year at the 'Fishbowl Club' in New York. Bullrun joined Wang, an alumnus of Parsons School, at his table while they were talking about their alma mater.
Bullrun stated, "I was sexually harassed by Wang in the early hours of the morning," adding, "There were many people in front of us, but suddenly he unzipped my pants, put his hand inside, and touched my body."
She said, "I froze at that moment," and added, "He said he wanted to take me home, but I wanted to get out of that situation as quickly as possible."
Meanwhile, Wang has called the allegations "ridiculous lies" and said he will hold those spreading the sexual harassment accusations accountable.
This is not the first time Wang has been involved in a sexual misconduct controversy. Last year, British model Owen Mooney revealed on the social media platform TikTok that she was sexually harassed by Wang at a club in New York in 2017, which led to a series of additional allegations and a major uproar.
