Prize money and office change opportunity for the winning team, home office set provided to teams advancing to the finals
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Deskker, a furniture brand that grows together with people starting out from the Persys Group, announced on the 24th that it will co-host the startup demo day "D.DAY," organized by the Bank권청년창업재단 'D.CAMP,' scheduled for the 25th of next month.
Deskker signed a business agreement with D.CAMP last June to support the rapid growth and independence of startups. As an official sponsor, Deskker operates the Office Change program, providing office furniture to startups graduating from D.CAMP, supporting their growth. It has also participated in the "D.DAY" program, a demo day that discovers early-stage startups eligible for D.CAMP investment and residency.
Since June 2013, "D.DAY" has been held monthly as a startup debut stage created with judges composed of investors and industry experts, along with the audience. Startups advancing to the finals can introduce their business, gain investment and residency opportunities, and receive growth support programs.
At this D.DAY, Persys Group will participate as a judge in selecting the final teams through Deskker, the official sponsor brand of D.CAMP, collaborate with business departments, and consider investments up to 300 million KRW. As a co-host, Deskker will award the winning team a prize of 10 million KRW and an Office Change opportunity, and provide the finalists with a home office set consisting of a laptop desk, drawer, and a high-speed wireless charging monitor stand.
The event will take place on the 25th of next month from 3 PM for two hours, featuring business presentations and judging of 5 to 6 selected startup companies. It will be broadcast live on the "D.CAMP" YouTube channel and the Xsync channel.
A Deskker representative said, "Deskker is a brand that started with furniture for startups, and we hope this D.DAY will help startups grow," adding, "We will continue to introduce various products and actively support not only startups but also people starting out to grow together."
