Active Adoption of AI Technology Across the Entire Logistics System
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Mesh Korea (CEO Yoo Jung-beom), operator of 'Boorung,' announced on the 24th that it has newly appointed Dr. Kim Myung-hwan, a Stanford University alumnus, as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to expand its artificial intelligence (AI) logistics system.
The CTO of Mesh Korea is responsible for developing digital logistics system technology, and Dr. Kim will play the role of an expert in developing and introducing AI logistics services utilizing big data.
Dr. Kim earned his Ph.D. in big data, AI, and social networks from Stanford University. He is a research and development expert who developed the friend recommendation service on LinkedIn, the world's largest business networking site, served as the leader of the AI service operations team, and held the position of Head of Data & AI at Mesh Korea.
Mesh Korea expects that through Dr. Kim's extensive experience in developing and operating AI-based services, it will be able to build an efficient digital logistics system that optimally responds to the increasingly complex and rapidly changing delivery environment.
Dr. Kim said, "With the steep growth of the delivery industry driven by the non-face-to-face trend, advanced AI technology utilizing big data is becoming crucial enough to determine the competitiveness of logistics platforms.
