[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Kim Soo-young, the mayor of Yangcheon District, conducted an on-site inspection of the smart crosswalk installed in front of Mokwoon Elementary School in Seoul on the 23rd.

The smart crosswalk uses high-resolution cameras to enable 24-hour monitoring and displays vehicles violating the stop line and their current speed on an LED display board, encouraging drivers to drive safely.

The district plans to install smart crosswalks in 20 school zones within the area.
