[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the afternoon of the 23rd, Chaehyunil, the mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, conducted an on-site inspection of the no-smoking zones at Lotte Castle Empire along with related staff members.

Mayor Chae received a report on the status and key initiatives of the no-smoking zones at the Lotte Castle Ivy public open space, a hotspot for smoking complaints, then checked the management status of the Korea Financial IT public open space, the no-smoking street section of Lotte Castle Empire, and the smoking booth in front of the Teachers' Pension. Finally, he concluded the schedule by patrolling the designated no-smoking area at the IFC Mall public open space.

Mayor Chaehyunil stated, "We will do our best to create a pleasant, smoke-free, walkable street, a healthy city, and a spacious Yeongdeungpo."
