The toll for Machang Bridge is 2,500 KRW for small vehicles, but according to the agreement, it is scheduled to increase to 3,000 KRW in 2022 and 3,500 KRW in 2030. This has drawn significant attention among the residents of the province and citizens of Changwon.
At the site visit, Chairman Kim Hayong urged, "Gyeongnam Province and Changwon City should form a TF team and gather the wisdom of related organizations to minimize inconvenience to the residents."
Meanwhile, Gyeongnam Province has formed a TF team for reducing Machang Bridge tolls consisting of related organizations and experts, and held its first meeting on the 22nd.
