Investment of 1.45 Billion Won in Project Funds
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province is strengthening the overall competitiveness of the manufacturing industry by supporting the development of new technologies, improvement of aging facilities, and response to environmental regulations for root companies within the province.
According to the province on the 23rd, a total project budget of 1.45 billion KRW, including 800 million KRW from the provincial government and 650 million KRW from city and county governments, will be invested this year to promote 11 projects in four major areas: technology quality, regulatory response, corporate difficulties, and sales channels/education.
In the technology and quality sector, there are five projects: 'R&D Technology Development' supporting prototype production, 'Certification Acquisition' supporting obtaining certifications, 'Performance Certification Testing and Analysis' supporting costs for product performance (composition) testing and certification, 'Government R&D Project Planning' consulting for business plan writing, and 'Technology Marketing' supporting the preparation of technology introduction materials.
In the regulatory response sector, the province plans to promote the 'Hazardous Chemical Substance Handling Facility Improvement Project,' which supports the placement and installation of hazardous chemical substance handling facilities and improvement costs for major facilities.
In the corporate difficulties sector, two marketing projects are included, where professional consultants support corporate difficulty consulting, website production, CI production, and market research.
In the sales channels and education sector, three projects will be promoted: 'Exhibition Participation Support' to help product display and promotion, 'Professional Workforce Training Education' to strengthen quality management capabilities, and 'Root Industry Revitalization Roundtable' to discover policies.
