"Preferential Interest Rate for Displaying Taegukgi via App"…DGB Daegu Bank Launches Samiljeol Savings Account

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] DGB Daegu Bank announced on the 22nd that it will sell the DGB Samiljeol Savings as the second installment of the DGB National Holiday Honor Savings series. This is the second national holiday-related savings account following the DGB Gwangbokjeol Savings launched last year to commemorate Liberation Day.

For the DGB Samiljeol Savings, the subscription period is one year, and customers can subscribe from 1 million KRW up to a maximum of 10 million KRW. The basic interest rate is 1.10% per annum, with a preferential interest rate of up to 0.30 percentage points.

The DGB Samiljeol Installment Savings is a product where customers pay 50,000 to 200,000 KRW monthly for one year. It offers a minimum basic interest rate of 1.35% plus a preferential interest rate of 1.0 percentage point. It will be sold for a limited period of 30 days starting from today, and only one account can be opened per person.

The preferential interest rate is provided if the customer displays the Taegeukgi flag through the bank’s application (app) IM Bank within 10 days after subscription. This can be done via the link received at the time of subscription or through a banner on the app.

An additional preferential interest rate of 0.05 percentage points is given for non-face-to-face subscriptions, and preferential interest rates can also be received by consenting to marketing use and subscribing to both savings and installment savings simultaneously.
