Jeong Eunseong, Honam University Professor, Appointed as Member of Gwangju City Festival Promotion Committee

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Honam University announced on the 19th that Professor Jeong Eun-seong of the Department of Tourism Management was appointed as a member of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Festival Promotion Committee on the 18th.

Appointed as a member of the Festival Promotion Committee under the Gwangju City Festival Promotion and Support Ordinance, Professor Jeong will advise on matters related to the discovery, promotion, and coordination of festivals in Gwangju City for the next two years.

Professor Jeong has been active as a regional tourism and regional development expert, serving as the lead researcher for the 7th Jeonnam Tourism Development Plan and the 3rd National Park Feasibility Study Suitability Evaluation, a patent review committee member for the Korea Customs Service bonded sales area tourism infrastructure, a policy committee member of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Policy Network, and vice president of the Jeolla region of the Korean Tourism Research Association.
