Shindonga Construction Wins Construction Contracts Worth 200 Billion Won in Daegu and Jeju

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Shindonga Construction announced on the 19th that it has consecutively secured construction projects worth a total of 200 billion KRW in Jeju and Daegu since the beginning of the year.

On the 6th, Shindonga Construction was finally selected as the contractor for the new construction of a residential-commercial complex in Sincheon-dong, Dong-gu, Daegu.

This project involves constructing a residential-commercial complex apartment with 656 units and 52 officetels, ranging from 4 basement floors to 31 above-ground floors. The total project cost is approximately 175.2 billion KRW, and the construction period is 38 months after groundbreaking. The company plans to sign the construction contract in June, obtain project plan approval in September, and aim for general sales in December.

Earlier, on the 15th of last month, the company succeeded in securing its first order of the year by being selected as the contractor for the 4th phase of the Jeju National University dormitory rental-type private investment project. This project, with a total contract amount of 35.9 billion KRW, involves constructing a dormitory with 450 rooms from 1 basement floor to 6 above-ground floors.

Shindonga Construction stated, "We have secured two construction rights through aggressive order-winning activities since the beginning of the year," and added, "To achieve this year's order target of 2.5 trillion KRW, we plan to actively engage in all fields including design competitions, urban development projects, technical bids, and maintenance projects."
