Gmarket and Auction are participating in the "Let's Discount Agricultural Products in Korea" (Agricultural Products Discount) event hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Gmarket and Auction announced on the 19th that they will participate in the "Let's Support Korean Agriculture" (agricultural product discount) event hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
About 100 fresh food items including domestic fruits, vegetables, and grains will be sold at discounted prices until the 21st. A special event coupon will also be introduced. A "20% discount coupon" will be provided to all customers, and up to 10,000 KRW discount will be applied when purchasing promotional products. The coupon can be downloaded once per ID during the event period.
The coupon can be used in conjunction with the "Smile Club Week Food Hall" discount coupons available on Gmarket and Auction. For the "Smile Club Week Food Hall" coupons, Smile Club members receive a "15% coupon," while general members receive a "10% coupon," both offering up to 3,000 KRW discount on purchases over 10,000 KRW. For products sold in both events, discounts can be applied cumulatively.
An eBay Korea official said, "We are participating in this event to stabilize agricultural product prices and to help farmers secure sales channels and increase income during difficult times," adding, "We will continue to support various policies for sellers of agricultural, fishery, and livestock products."
