LG CNS Obtains 'AWS Cloud Security Capability' Certification

[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] LG CNS announced on the 18th that it has obtained Amazon Web Services (AWS) 'Cloud Security Competency Certification.'

AWS is a globally widely adopted cloud platform, and the AWS Cloud Security Competency Certification is conducted for AWS partners. LG CNS received certification in the 'Security Engineering' category. Security Engineering is the capability to ensure security during the process of designing and building cloud systems for clients. LG CNS is the first in Korea to acquire certification in Security Engineering.

With this certification, LG CNS also demonstrated the effectiveness of its cloud security solution 'CAT.' CAT is LG CNS's technology that automatically inspects the current status of cloud security. With just one click by an administrator, CAT identifies and guides on security vulnerabilities. The required time is within 5 minutes. Normally, a single person conducting a security inspection takes about 16 hours.

Meanwhile, LG CNS has built cloud systems for large clients including Korean Air. In addition, it has carried out numerous cloud migration projects for LG affiliates.

Kim Tae-hoon, Executive Director in charge of Cloud Business at LG CNS DTI Division, said, "With this certification, we have presented the security standards necessary for enterprise cloud environments," adding, "We will realize customer value by providing enhanced cloud security services, including cloud environment migration, construction, operation, and integrated application management services."
