Willing to Pay 1.2 Billion Won for Surrogate Child... 10 Million Won per Case
All 10 Children Are 1 Year Old... Contracts with Multiple Surrogates
"Don't Know How Many More to Have... Want to Have Over 100 Children"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] A story about a 23-year-old woman with 11 children in Georgia, a country on the coast of the Black Sea in Europe, has caused a stir.
According to foreign media on the 16th (local time), Christina Ozterk had 10 of her children through surrogates, except for her 6-year-old daughter Vika, whom she gave birth to herself.
All 10 children are less than one year old, as they were born around the same time through contracts with multiple surrogates.
Although Christina already has 11 children, she has no intention of stopping having more.
She reportedly wants to have more than 100 children and is willing to pay 80,000 pounds (about 1.23 billion KRW) for children through surrogacy.
Christina lives with her husband, Galip Ozterk (56), a wealthy hotel owner in Georgia, on the Batumi beach in Georgia.
Christina, who was a single mom, visited Batumi on the Black Sea for a vacation, where she met her husband Galip Ozterk. They fell in love at first sight, and shortly after, Christina moved into Galip’s mansion.
Christina said about her husband, "Although he is older, he is a great advisor to me and like a prince from a fairy tale."
Galip said about Christina, "She is the ideal wife, the kind of wife I have always wanted. I have seen how pure and kind-hearted she is. She is a diamond that never loses its shine."
The couple dreams of having a very large family with many children. Christina said, "My husband wanted to have many children, and I gladly accepted his wish. I wanted to get pregnant once a year, but it was difficult to conceive," which was the reason for contracting surrogates.
Still, Christina emphasized, "I have not given up on giving birth myself."
Through Instagram, Christina introduced her 10 children and said, "We don’t know how many there will be in the end, but we definitely do not plan to stop at 10. We are not ready to talk about the final number of children yet."
Surrogacy is legal in Georgia. The cost per surrogacy is known to be about 8,000 euros (approximately 10 million KRW).
