COWON·Cowon System Donates 5,000 KF94 Masks to Gangnam Fire Station

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] COWON (CEOs Shin Hyunjong and Lee Seunghoon) and Cowon Systems (CEO Lee Geunsu) announced on the 17th that they visited the Gangnam Fire Station in Seoul and donated 5,000 KF94 masks.

COWON explained that the donation of masks was made with gratitude, as the Gangnam Fire Station firefighters had responded to a fire incident at their office building last year.

Founded in 1995, Cowon Systems launched the ‘Airshop (air#)’ brand based on patented mask-related technologies developed to prevent yellow dust and fine dust even before the COVID-19 pandemic. They produce disposable masks including KF94 and KF-AD, as well as fashion masks, waterproof masks, replaceable filter masks, and smart fan masks.

Lee Seunghoon, CEO of COWON, said, “Despite the difficulties caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, we donated Cowon Airshop masks hoping to be of some help to the firefighters working hard at fire and accident sites. We will strive to be a company that practices sharing as a member of society.”
