Highlighting the Exchange Beyond Status and Age Between Jeong Yak-jeon and Changdae
Distributor Megabox Joongang Plus M announced on the 17th that director Lee Joon-ik's new film "Jasan Eobo" will be released on the 31st of next month. The film, shot in black and white, depicts the process of scholar Jeong Yak-jeon, exiled to Heuksando Island, and young fisherman Chang-dae, who wants to escape the sea and start a new life, becoming friends while writing the ichthyology book "Jasan Eobo." It is expected to convey deep empathy and resonance through their exchange beyond social status and age. Jeong Yak-jeon is played by Seol Kyung-gu, and Chang-dae is portrayed by Byeon Yo-han. In addition, Lee Jung-eun, Min Do-hee, Cha Soon-bae, and Kang Ki-young also appear, adding depth to the story.
