Uridul Hubrain Acquires Additional Shares of 'BBIBI'... "Total Stake 14.02%"

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Wooridle Hubrain announced on the 16th that it has additionally acquired 88,558 shares of BBB, a medical device specialist company, for 3.1 billion KRW.

After the acquisition, the total number of shares will be 309,147, securing a 14.02% stake. The acquisition method is cash purchase and is an additional investment to achieve management objectives. The acquisition date is the same day, and the shares were acquired from investment associations and others.

Wooridle Hubrain became the second largest shareholder by investing 7.5 billion KRW in BBB in May 2019 to enter new businesses and expand business connections. Additionally, as BBB's sales of COVID-19 diagnostic kits have increased, Wooridle Hubrain, as the second largest shareholder, explained that the value of its investment assets is also growing.

Along with this, Wooridle Hubrain expects to generate financial operating income by acquiring 3 billion KRW worth of convertible bonds with warrants (BW) of Syswork, where BBB is the largest shareholder, in October last year. Syswork is a cleanroom control system company that is actively promoting its bio business together with BBB, which became the largest shareholder through a third-party allotment paid-in capital increase.
