Welcoming Visitors with Various Programs Including Exhibition Viewing and Educational Experiences
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Goheung-gun (Governor Song Gwi-geun) Buncheong Culture Museum announced on the 16th that it has reopened the museum following the adjustment of social distancing measures in non-metropolitan areas to level 1.5 due to the spread of COVID-19.
According to national and public facility quarantine guidelines, the number of visitors is limited to 50%, and entry is only allowed if visitors comply with quarantine measures such as wearing masks, temperature checks before entry, filling out visit logs, and maintaining at least 1 meter distance between visitors.
In the planned exhibition hall, the achievement exhibition of resident artists of Goheung Buncheong pottery has resumed, and the 7th Buncheong pottery pottery course will begin on the 18th at the Hanok Multipurpose Experience Center. The number of participants allowed simultaneously in educational experience programs is limited to 10.
At the cultural product store, Buncheong pottery, art products, and local handicrafts are selected monthly and can be purchased at discounts of up to 60%. On Buncheong Culture Day, held on the last Saturday of every month, Buncheong pottery auction events and SNS events will also be held concurrently.
A county official said, “We will strive to create conditions where visitors can comfortably enjoy Buncheong pottery, history, literature, and folklore, and easily access various cultural products by managing quarantine through frequent facility disinfection and guiding visitors to follow a one-way route.”
Meanwhile, admission tickets to the Goheung Buncheong Culture Museum have been unified into an integrated ticket with the Jo Jung-rae Family Literature Museum and Gapjae Folk Exhibition Hall, allowing admission to all three places with one ticket. The admission fee is 2,000 KRW per person for those aged 19 and over.
