The Audi A3, first unveiled last year, is a premium sportback and limousine model built on the Volkswagen Group's MQB platform, and Nexen Tire products will be supplied for these models, the company explained.
First, Nexen Tire's 'N'Fera Sport' is a European-style premium sport tire that delivers excellent performance on both wet and dry roads. Through optimized pattern design, high-speed driving stability and handling performance have been significantly upgraded, and the application of a new compound maximizes grip and braking power.
The N'Fera Sport also proved its superior performance by receiving 'strong recommendation' and 'purchase recommendation' in tests conducted by major European automotive magazines such as Germany's 'ADAC Motorwelt', 'Auto Bild', and Switzerland's TCS.
The 'N'Blue S' product is a tire suitable for eco-friendly and high-performance vehicles, minimizing tire rolling resistance in response to Europe's strengthened carbon dioxide regulations.
In particular, it is the company's first application of sidewall aerodynamics to reduce vehicle noise and improve fuel efficiency, reducing not only the fuel efficiency rating but also driving noise. Especially, compared to previous products, the simplified groove design enhances high-speed water drainage and wet braking performance.
The 'WinGuard Sport 2' is a winter tire developed to maintain stable speed even on snowy roads, optimized for luxury sedans and sports cars with excellent handling and braking performance on snow-covered roads.
