Daegu City Reports 7 COVID-19 Cases at a Cooking Pub... Buk-gu Family Suspected of n-th Infection On the morning of the 11th, citizens are waiting for testing at a temporary screening clinic set up at Seoul Station Plaza.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Seven confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported at a nationwide chain fusion cuisine pub located on Dongcheon-ro, Buk-gu, Daegu.

According to Daegu City on the 11th, one of the newly confirmed cases on the 9th was confirmed to have visited this restaurant. Based on the visitor log and other information, six additional confirmed cases were identified through testing.

The confirmed cases were found to have visited the restaurant on the evenings of the 26th-27th and 29th-30th of last month, as well as on the 5th of this month. Daegu City estimates that these seven cases are part of a secondary infection related to a family in Buk-gu.

In this regard, Daegu City disclosed the name of the fusion cuisine pub during the day and sent out notification messages to citizens simultaneously.

A Daegu City official stated, "Although none of the family members in Buk-gu visited the pub, it appears to be a related chain infection," and urged, "Citizens who visited the pub and stayed during the same time as the additional confirmed cases must get tested."

Meanwhile, except for the 9th when 9 new cases were reported, Daegu has consistently seen more than 10 new confirmed cases daily since the 5th. Following 16 cases on the 10th, 13 more were added as of midnight on the 11th.
