According to Gwangju Metropolitan City as of 2 p.m. on the 11th, three new COVID-19 cases were confirmed, registered as cases number 1936 to 1938.
Case 1936 tested positive in a test conducted just before the end of self-quarantine related to Gwangju Antioch Church.
Including Kkum-iinneun Church, a total of 138 confirmed cases have been linked to Antioch Church.
The infection route of case 1937 is under investigation. It is known that the individual was tested after exhibiting COVID-like symptoms.
One additional case related to Ace TCS International School was confirmed, bringing the total to 51 cases. Case 1938 was confirmed positive during a test conducted while in isolation.
So far, among the 1,938 confirmed cases in the Gwangju area, 1,711 have recovered and been discharged, while 208 are receiving isolation treatment. There have been 19 deaths.
By age group, there are 84 cases under 10 years old, 199 in their teens, 247 in their 20s, 185 in their 30s, 276 in their 40s, 387 in their 50s, 289 in their 60s, 141 in their 70s, 97 in their 80s, and 33 aged 90 and above.
Among the 208 currently receiving treatment, one patient is in moderate condition and one in severe condition, while the remaining 206 are mild cases.
