[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] At around 11 a.m. on the 11th, when the homecoming traffic began, a pile-up involving more than 10 vehicles occurred about 1 km near the Miryang Interchange on the Busan-Daegu Expressway northbound lane, causing severe congestion.

Damaged vehicles are lined up on both sides of the road ahead of the Miryang IC on the northbound lane of the expressway, and casualties have also been reported.

Due to this accident, vehicles heading home are backed up for about 5 km.

According to eyewitnesses at the scene, "There was a collision sound from the front car followed by a chain of 'bang bang' sounds as vehicles crashed into each other," and "injured people were seen, and cars have been stopped for about 30 to 40 minutes."
