[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] On the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday, the 11th, Governor Lee Cheol-woo visited the Gyeongbuk Provincial Comprehensive Situation Room and the 119 Fire Situation Room in succession. After directly inspecting COVID-19 response, safety and transportation measures for returning travelers, and measures to resolve civil complaints, he encouraged the emergency duty personnel.


The Gyeongbuk Provincial Comprehensive Situation Room operates with 11 teams in various fields (Comprehensive Situation Team, COVID-19 Response Team, Emergency Medical Measures Team, Disaster Management Team, Fire Rescue and Ambulance Team, Wildfire Prevention Measures Team, Traffic and Transportation Measures Team, Road Management Team, Livestock Infectious Disease Measures Team, Environmental Management Team, Water Supply Management Team). A total of 96 people work in shifts of 24 per day.


Visiting the Gyeongbuk Fire Headquarters, which has entered special alert duty, Governor Lee urged, "During the holiday period, proactively respond to various incidents and accidents such as fires, and especially respond swiftly in case of emergency rescue and ambulance situations so that the residents can spend a safe and happy Lunar New Year holiday. Please do your best."
