Hanjin Reports Operating Profit of 110.3 Billion KRW Last Year, Up 21.7% YoY

[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Hanjin announced on the 9th that its operating profit last year was 110.29099 billion KRW, an increase of 21.7% compared to the previous year.

During the same period, sales revenue increased by 7.5% to 2.02177 trillion KRW. Net profit for the period turned positive to 10.58502 billion KRW.

Hanjin stated, "Operating profit increased by 21.7% compared to the previous year due to an increase in parcel delivery volume and profitability improvement, as well as improved performance of the container handling subsidiary," and added, "Net profit turned positive compared to the previous year due to the improvement in operating profit."
