Introducing Two Eco-Friendly Fiber Products Including Regen® Hoodies and Sweatshirts

Hyosung Launches First Apparel Brand Through Wadiz Funding

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] "Do I have to go to Gongdeok Station to buy a hoodie made by Hyosung?"

Hyosung TNC's eco-friendly clothing brand 'G3H10' was unveiled for the first time on the crowdfunding platform Wadiz. This is the first time that Hyosung TNC, a B2B company, has directly produced clothing and presented it to general consumers.

The brand name G3H10 is composed of three keywords focused on environment and sustainability: G (Green, Good, Globe) and ten keywords starting with H (Hyosung, Hope, Healthy, Human, How to, Harmony, Home, Healing, Help). Additionally, the fashion design team responsible for the brand is located on the 10th floor of the Hyosung building near Exit 3 of Gongdeok Station, which inspired the name.

The clothing sales are conducted not offline but through online crowdfunding. Consumers invest and receive products corresponding to their investment amount, with rewards determined based on the level of interest. The funding runs on Wadiz until the 22nd.

This brand launch aims to go beyond simply supplying textiles and to develop textiles that reflect the voices of the end consumers, who are the customers of apparel brands.

G3H10 is an eco-friendly brand pursuing a sustainable virtuous cycle structure. Its first products are made with regen® fibers recycled from PET bottles and organic cotton harvested from pesticide-free cotton, aligning with eco-friendly trends. The sweatshirts and hoodies are offered in three colors: charcoal, ivory, and olive.

The first series of G3H10 (project name: Re:make) can be viewed on Hyosung TNC’s Instagram and Wadiz.

During the funding period until the 22nd, the first 500 supporters will receive a mask made from Hyosung TNC’s antibacterial fibers as a gift.

The production of G3H10 clothing was carried out in collaboration with small and medium fabric and sewing companies struggling due to decreased clothing demand caused by COVID-19. Hyosung TNC plans to continuously release G3H10 brand products in the future, expanding collaboration with small and medium partners to contribute to revitalizing the textile and apparel industry.
