[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Mart has exclusively launched the beverage 'Kkanyung,' developed in collaboration with general consumers by Lotte Chilsung Beverage. Alongside this, they are also introducing the 'Ssalgamani Pack,' a collection pack of Lotte Confectionery's popular rice snack Ssalrobyul.
First, 'Kka' means black rice and 'nyung' refers to the rich combination of scorched rice water, so 'Kkanyung' is a product that reinterprets the traditional scorched rice water, which our ancestors drank after meals to cleanse the palate, into a convenient RTD (Ready To Drink) beverage. It features a deep and rich savory taste made by roasting carefully selected domestic black rice and adding scorched rice. One 500ml bottle provides 6.25g of dietary fiber, which corresponds to 25% of the daily recommended intake for Koreans.
The new product 'Ssalgamani Pack,' which contains eight popular items of Lotte Confectionery's signature rice snack Ssalrobyul in packaging designed like a rice sack, is also available at Lotte Mart.
To celebrate this exclusive launch, Lotte Mart is offering a discount on 'Kkanyung 1 bottle (500ml)' at the L.POINT member price of 980 KRW (non-member price 1400 KRW) at stores nationwide until the 17th.
