[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] CJ Foodville announced on the 5th that it will collaborate with the National Health Insurance Service to carry out the 'Good Mask Usage (Good Magic)' campaign.
The 'Good Mask Usage' campaign is planned by the National Health Insurance Service with the goal of making 'proper mask wearing,' the most effective measure to prevent the spread and resurgence of COVID-19, a national culture.
As a leading dining specialist company in Korea, CJ Foodville is conducting this campaign in partnership with the National Health Insurance Service to spread and improve awareness of the most basic and important rule to protect each other's daily lives: 'proper mask usage,' through customer touchpoints of its operated brands.
Starting from the 8th, CJ Foodville plans to actively promote the campaign through displays (PDP) and information banners inside dining brand stores such as Vips, Season's Table, The Place, and Jeil Jemyunso. When using restaurants and cafes, promotional materials created with easy-to-understand videos and images will convey rules such as 'Beotmassmal (take off, drink, wear, and talk)' and 'completely covering the nose and mouth' when wearing masks, maximizing the spread of the campaign's core message: 'Proper mask wearing is the vaccine.'
Since the onset of the COVID-19 crisis, CJ Foodville has prioritized the health of employees and customers by establishing its own 'Safe Restaurant' standards that far exceed government and local government guidelines, continuously developing them according to each phase of the situation, and managing them at the industry's highest level. Additionally, it is conducting its own 'Dining Etiquette' campaign with customers, which includes mandatory mask and disposable glove wearing, refraining from conversation, and encouraging the use of personal plates.
A CJ Foodville representative said, “As a dining specialist company, we are fully committed to overcoming the third wave and preventing further spread by creating a new normal safe restaurant,” adding, “We hope this Good Magic campaign will help bring forward the time when everyone can regain their precious daily lives.”
