[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] The Gyeongbuk Provincial Office of Education announced the implementation plan for the 2021 1st Graduation Equivalency Examination for elementary, middle, and high schools on the Office of Education's website on the 5th.
The distribution and submission of application forms will take place over five days from the 15th to the 19th at the Gyeongbuk Office of Education and the Pohang, Andong, and Gumi Education Support Offices. Applications can be submitted on-site as well as online through the NEIS Equivalency Examination Service.
However, online applications are limited to until 6 PM on the 18th. For those with foreign academic credentials, on-site submission is the principle, but individuals under self-quarantine or those exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms such as fever or respiratory symptoms (cough, sore throat, etc.) may submit their applications online.
The exam date is April 10. The general public will take the exam at five locations: Pohang Hwanho Girls' Middle School, Andong Girls' Middle School, Gumi Girls' Commercial High School, and for inmates, Andong Prison and Gimcheon Juvenile Prison. Successful candidates will be announced on May 11 on the Office of Education's website.
Meanwhile, among the test takers, those under self-quarantine or confirmed cases who wish to take the exam will be provided with further guidance on March 26 through the 'Examinee Precautions' section on the Gyeongbuk Office of Education website.
