Collecting Ideas to Revitalize the Stagnant Local Economy... Submissions Accepted Until February 16... Anyone Interested in Eunpyeong District Administration Can Participate
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) is collecting innovative ideas to revitalize the local economy, which has been stagnant due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, through the "Eunpyeong Hope Job Idea Contest."
The contest categories include ▲ job projects tailored to specific groups such as youth, seniors, and women ▲ region-specific job projects related to tourism, culture, and environment ▲ public sector job projects through the expansion of public services ▲ and various short- and long-term job projects suited to local characteristics.
Idea submissions will be accepted until February 16, and anyone interested in Eunpyeong-gu administration, including residents and employees of Eunpyeong-gu, can participate.
Those wishing to participate can submit their idea proposals via the district office website, by email to the contest manager (jws1701@ep.go.kr), or by mail or in person.
Submissions that infringe on patents or copyrights owned by others, simple petitions, criticisms, complaints, or those related to specific personal profit businesses and promotions will not be accepted as proposals.
Submitted ideas will be reviewed by the Proposal Review Committee and selected as Grand Prize (1 person, 500,000 KRW), Excellence Prize (2 persons, 300,000 KRW each), and Encouragement Prize (3 persons, 100,000 KRW each). The results will be announced on the district office website and notified individually in March 2021.
The selected job projects will be implemented earnestly under the supervision of the responsible department, aiming to overcome COVID-19 and revitalize the local economy. For more details about the contest, please visit the Eunpyeong-gu website.
