Dongjak-gu, Recruiting Members for Youth Policy Network Committee

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Changwoo Lee) is recruiting '2021 Youth Policy Network Members' until the 21st.

The Youth Policy Network serves as a representative of youth and a communication channel between the public and private sectors, supporting the activation of youth policy participation by conveying the voices of local youth, discovering policies, and proposing activities.

The recruitment target is 56 youths aged between 19 and 39 who have an address in Dongjak-gu or attend universities or workplaces located in the area.

Youths who wish to participate can submit an application form, a certificate of enrollment or graduation, or a certificate of employment by mail or email to the person in charge (pyjin18@dongjak.go.kr).

The district will announce the final selected members through the district website and individual notifications within this month, and hold an online network inauguration ceremony in March to award appointment letters, select the chairperson, and decide on the subcommittee themes and detailed network operation directions.

The selected network members will engage in activities such as ▲discovering and proposing youth policies in Dongjak-gu ▲monitoring youth policies ▲holding policy presentation meetings at places like the Noryangjin Youth Job Center until December, with the possibility of one reappointment.

For more details, please contact the Job Policy Division.

Additionally, the district plans to conduct online education in April and May for youths interested in youth policies, covering topics such as ▲understanding governance and youth policies ▲youth autonomous participation budgeting system ▲understanding youth issues and activities.

Yoon Soyeon, head of the Job Policy Division, said, “Through this project, we will provide opportunities for youth to actively participate in agenda discovery, policy proposals, and district administration.”
