[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Park Eun-seok, who was embroiled in controversy over abandoning his pet, met Kang Ho-dong on 'Kang Ho-dong's Bapsim' and shared various episodes.

On the 1st, Park Eun-seok appeared on SBS Plus's 'Kang Ho-dong's Bapsim.'

The broadcast was recorded on the 19th of last month and contained conversations from before the controversy regarding Park Eun-seok's alleged pet abandonment arose. The decision was made to air the pre-recorded episode normally as the controversy had somewhat settled.

In the drama 'Penthouse,' Park Eun-seok attracted attention with his versatile charm, portraying characters ranging from the American real estate tycoon 'Logan Lee' to the rustic and cheerful physical education teacher 'Gu Ho-dong.'

Park Eun-seok shared an episode related to his casting that day.

He said, "At first, I was offered a different role, not Gu Ho-dong or Logan Lee," and added, "After reading the script for the other role, I didn't feel good about it." He confessed that when he received a call from someone involved, he thought he was being dropped from the drama.

Park Eun-seok explained that to perfect the character of Gu Ho-dong, he personally went around looking for props and dirtied Gu Ho-dong's clothes and teeth with his own ideas.

He also confessed that due to his long childhood stay in the U.S., he had a fear of dialects and asked MC Kang Ho-dong, who is from Gyeongsang Province, to teach him some dialect skills.

Additionally, Park Eun-seok opened up about his life from living in the U.S., returning to Korea and voluntarily enlisting in the military, to his acting career that even made him give up his permanent residency.

He recalled his difficult childhood, saying, "Since I was 15, I've done every part-time job imaginable, from pizza delivery, busboy, to door-to-door sales. The most memorable was working as a beach boy at the seaside."
