However, the Ministry of Justice clarified, "Today's visit by the Prosecutor General is for congratulatory purposes only, and no discussions regarding personnel matters are planned."
It is known that Prosecutor General Yoon will visit the Ministry of Justice at the Government Complex Gwacheon in Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, around 9:30 a.m. to pay a courtesy call to Minister Park. The inauguration ceremony for Minister Park is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
Traditionally, the Prosecutor General does not attend the Minister of Justice's inauguration ceremony but instead visits the minister just before the ceremony.
However, during former Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae's tenure, Prosecutor General Yoon paid a visit after the inauguration ceremony.
