Chosun University One-Stop Student Counseling Center Receives Excellence Awards for Counseling Institution and Counselor

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Chosun University One-Stop Student Counseling Center recently announced on the 28th that it was selected as an Excellent Counseling Institution (Activity Division) in the 2020 Excellent University Counseling Institution Evaluation hosted by the National University Student Counseling Center Association, and that the center's specialist counselor Hwang Da-young received the Excellent Counselor Award.

The National University Student Counseling Center Association selects and awards excellent counseling institutions and excellent counselors every year with the aim of revitalizing university student counseling centers, enhancing the professionalism of university counseling, and promoting mutual exchange.

Chosun University One-Stop Student Counseling Center operates various programs to help enrolled students adapt to university life and improve mental health.

In addition to operating on-campus programs, the center collaborates with related departments and local community organizations to make efforts such as conducting surveys by target group, creating manuals, and reflecting feedback based on a systematic counseling system.

Furthermore, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the center supports psychological assistance for students experiencing various issues by developing and operating customized non-face-to-face programs to ensure there are no gaps in support.
