[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Dong-A Pharmaceutical announced on the 28th that it will hold the "Cheer Up Korea! Cheer Up Riders!" event together with Barogo, a startup operating a last-mile logistics IT platform.
Dong-A Pharmaceutical and Barogo planned the event to express gratitude to riders (delivery workers) who are doing their best to ensure the safe daily lives of the public amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and to create an opportunity to support each other through Dong-A Pharmaceutical's fatigue recovery drink, Bacchus.
This event can be participated in through the Barogo driver app community, "Barogo Play," until the 14th of next month. By leaving a cheering message for fellow riders or their affiliated hubs on the event page comments, participants are automatically entered. Bacchus mobile gifticons will be provided to 2,021 riders who leave cheering comments, and among them, 50 hubs will be selected to receive a total of 10,000 bottles of Bacchus.
A Dong-A Pharmaceutical official said, "It was thanks to the riders who silently went out to deliver and connected the public with small business owners that we were all able to live safely," adding, "We hope this event helps relieve some of the riders' fatigue."
