[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] Winia Dimchae announced on the 28th that it will release eight types of the 2021 Winia Wave Air Conditioner 'Color Edition,' reflecting the color appliance trend.
The newly released Winia Wave Air Conditioner Color Edition features colors inspired by famous overseas resorts such as Paris, France; Rome, Italy; and the Maldives. Consumers can choose from a total of eight colors according to their preferences and interior design: French Navy, Trevi Green, Maldives Blue, Malta Green, Tahiti Red, Kona Brown, Nordic Green, and Caribbean Coral.
Functionally, in addition to powerful cooling, it offers efficient cooling through the indirect wind 'Cool Shower' function, and convenience is enhanced with features such as dehumidification and a microfiber filter. The Winia Wave Air Conditioner is also equipped with various smart technologies. The newly applied artificial intelligence (AI) automatic clean drying function monitors the air conditioner's operating time and automatically sets the internal drying time from 10 to 45 minutes.
The baby care function is also applied. It includes a baby mode that provides gentle wind for babies sensitive to cold air, lighting on/off to protect the baby's eyes, mute to prevent noise, and a remote control lock function to prevent malfunction.
Additionally, after purchasing a separate Wi-Fi module, users can control functions remotely using the Winia Air Conditioner Smart Home application. Using SK Telecom's AI speaker 'Nugu' allows convenient voice control.
The 2021 Winia Wave Color Edition is released as a 17-pyeong model. The eight colors are priced in the 2 million KRW range. It can be purchased at various online shopping malls including 'WiniaeShop,' Winia specialty stores, Hi-Mart, and Electronics Land offline stores.
A Winia Dimchae official said, "The Winia Wave Air Conditioner is an attractive product that touches customer emotions by providing visual interior effects and smart functions to customers who cannot travel abroad due to COVID-19."
