Sulwhasoo Jaumsaeng Essence

Amorepacific Sulwhasoo is a global cosmetics brand loved in 12 countries worldwide, including China, Singapore, Hong Kong, the United States, Canada, and France. It combines unique Asian ingredients such as Jaumdan and ginseng with advanced scientific technology to spread Korean beauty and values globally.

The 'Sulwhasoo Herbal Science Research Center,' composed of top experts within Amorepacific’s research institute, has been conducting research on precious herbal ingredients for over 50 years, starting with Korean ginseng.

Sulwhasoo Yunjo Essence is the 'first anti-aging essence' used immediately after cleansing. Since its launch in 1997, it has consistently received love and continues to set new records in Korean cosmetics. It is a mega best-seller product and the most chosen item by customers using Sulwhasoo for the first time. Among domestic cosmetics brands, it was the first single product to surpass 1 trillion KRW in cumulative sales in 2014, 2 trillion KRW in 2017, and exceeded 3 trillion KRW in cumulative sales as of August last year.

Sulwhasoo also discovered 'Ginsenomics,' a particularly effective ingredient among over 30 saponins found in ginseng, and included it commonly in the Jaumsaeng line. This high-functionality ingredient, which selectively concentrates only the ginseng saponins that alleviate skin aging by more than 6,000 times, has a powerful anti-aging effect and helps improve skin irritated by external environmental factors.

The representative product of the Jaumsaeng line, Jaumsaeng Essence, has established itself as a leading elasticity essence, recording cumulative sales of 700,000 bottles over three years since its domestic launch in 2018. The new product Jaumsaeng Ampoule, launched in September last year, calms the skin and delivers a powerful anti-aging effect even with a single use when the skin condition rapidly deteriorates or becomes sensitive due to external stimuli.
