Samhwa Paint Launches Antiviral Paint with 'Safe Living' Event

[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] Samhwa Paint Industrial announced on the 27th that it will hold the 'Safe Life' event to commemorate the launch of its antiviral paint 'Ansim Doctor'. The event will run until the 14th of next month.

The Safe Life event is conducted in two ways. Participants can visit the official Samhwa Paint blog to find hidden letters and leave a comment, or select a photo taken of Ansim Doctor and upload it to social networking services (SNS) with a hashtag to join the event. Winners will receive prizes such as iPads, AirPods Pro, and air purifiers.

Earlier, on the 5th, Samhwa Paint Industrial launched 'Ansim Doctor', the first antiviral functional paint in Korea.

Samhwa Paint Industrial explained that Ansim Doctor contains special porous inorganic materials with antiviral functionality, which kill 99.9% of viruses upon contact with the paint surface. The company completed testing and verification of the virus elimination effect last November through FITI Testing & Research Institute and the Ministry of Health and Welfare affiliated organizations.
