[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] Helixmith announced on the 27th that it has acquired a patent right for a herbal composition for the prevention or treatment of respiratory diseases.
The patent right pertains to a composition for the prevention, treatment, or improvement of respiratory diseases containing extracts of Dioscoreae Rhizoma (San-yak), Taraxaci Herba (Po-gong-yeong), and Schizonepetae Spica (Hyeong-gae).
The company explained, "We have confirmed that the complex herbal extract (mixed extract) has efficacy in suppressing not only lung tissue damage but also inflammation, oxidative stress, and aging effects induced by fine dust."
