Support of 3 million to 10 million KRW per group
Applications open from the 27th to the 26th of next month
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Gyeongsangnam-do will begin accepting applications for the ‘Nonprofit Private Organization Public Interest Activity Support Project’ starting from the 27th.
Applications are open to nonprofit private organizations currently registered with the province, and applications can be submitted in person at the provincial government’s administrative department or by mail from the 27th until February 26th.
This year’s project includes five categories: social integration, social welfare, civil society, ecology/environment, and social safety, with each organization allowed to apply for only one project.
If selected as a support target, subsidies ranging from a minimum of 3 million KRW to a maximum of 10 million KRW will be provided per organization based on the evaluation results.
This year, a total of 350 million KRW will be supported for 70 to 80 organizations.
The support targets are determined by the Public Interest Project Selection Committee, which evaluates the project’s originality, economic feasibility, ripple effect, resolution of social issues and fulfillment of residents’ needs, validity of the requested budget details and self-contribution ratio, results of the previous year’s project evaluation, the organization’s expertise and responsibility, and recent public interest activity performance.
Detailed information and required documents for applying for the support project can be found in the notices section on the provincial website, and related inquiries can be made to the provincial administrative department’s private organization 담당.
