[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that from midnight to 6 p.m. on the 26th, 112 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Seoul.
This is 24 more cases compared to the same time the previous day. As of 6 p.m., the number of confirmed cases over 18 hours had remained in double digits on the 24th and 25th, but has risen again to over 100.
New cases from major cluster infections include 3 cases at 'Workplace 3' in Gangnam-gu, and 1 case each related to Dongdaemun-gu Hyundai Public Sauna, the U.S. military base in Yongsan-gu, and a 'Gangdong-gu family'. There were 45 cases from contact with other confirmed patients, and 32 cases with unknown infection routes.
As of 6 p.m. on the day, the cumulative number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Seoul stands at 23,675.
