According to the county on the 25th, from this year, the Jangseong Sarang Gift Certificate can also be purchased at four local credit unions.
The county and the credit unions recently signed a sales agency agreement including this content, increasing the total number of Jangseong Sarang Gift Certificate purchase locations to 20, including the existing 16 Nonghyup and Livestock Cooperatives.
Sales of the gift certificates will begin on the 26th. A 10% discount event will be held until June, with a monthly purchase limit of 1 million KRW per person.
Along with the existing paper gift certificates, "card-type" gift certificates will also be issued.
The card-type gift certificates are expected to be introduced around March, and are anticipated to enhance convenience and transparency.
The county will also introduce an "Integrated Gift Certificate Management System" to prevent fraudulent distribution and strengthen management functions.
Governor Yoo Du-seok said, "Last year, the Jangseong Sarang Gift Certificate played a significant role in overcoming the difficulties of people's livelihoods caused by COVID-19," and added, "We plan to continue improving and supplementing the gift certificates so that they are loved by users and bring vitality to the region."
