[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The Financial Security Institute has established a website that allows the use of data linkage and evaluation services for the first time among data specialized institutions.
On the 25th, the Financial Security Institute announced, "We have launched a data specialized institution portal that processes data linkage, anonymization, and adequacy evaluation in a one-stop manner to proactively respond to the demand for data linkage and utilization."
The data specialized institution portal focuses on automating and streamlining data linkage and adequacy evaluation tasks to reduce processing time and enhance user convenience. Users can complete all processes required for data linkage at once on the website and also use integrated management functions such as viewing usage history by user and institution.
The Financial Security Institute explained that data can be used safely during the utilization process. Each file is encrypted during transmission and reception in the data linkage process, and the data is automatically destroyed once the linkage task is completed.
The Financial Security Institute plans to operate a cloud-based remote data analysis center in the first quarter of this year.
Kim Young-gi, Director of the Financial Security Institute, added, "The Financial Security Institute will continue to actively identify and improve market demands related to data linkage so that the financial sector can lead the data innovation economy through the activation of data utilization."
