KB Kookmin Card Releases 'Tamnan Jeon Check Card' MV Featuring Band Ilan Chi

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Kookmin Card announced on the 25th that it has released a promotional music video for the 'KB Kookmin Tamnaneunjeon Check Card' in collaboration with the band 'Edalchi Band.'

This music video was planned to promote the hybrid check card 'KB Kookmin Tamnaneunjeon Check Card,' which combines the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province local currency 'Tamnaneunjeon' and check card functions into one card. The video conveys a message of supporting local small business owners and inspiring hope by showing the Edalchi Band and a dance team using the card while visiting Jeju Island.

The music in the video was written and composed by Edalchi Band, blending Jeju folk songs and Pansori to deliver the card information in an enjoyable way. In particular, it highlights the key features of the KB Kookmin Tamnaneunjeon Check Card with simple and intuitive messages, such as ▲being available not only to Jeju residents but to all citizens ▲a 10% additional accumulation benefit ▲and a convenient application process.

Also notable is the participation of choreographer Kim Seol-jin, who is from Jeju Island, performing dazzling dance moves. Jang Young-gyu, the producer of Edalchi Band who oversaw the production of this music video, explained, "We overlaid the melody of Seowujet sori, a traditional Jeju folk song, on the scene from the Pansori Simcheongga where the Dragon King holds a feast for Simcheong," adding, "We created this music video with the hope that the KB Kookmin Tamnaneunjeon Check Card will become a new turning point for Jeju Island."

A KB Kookmin Card official said, "We ask for much interest in the 'KB Kookmin Tamnaneunjeon Check Card,' which offers a 10% additional accumulation benefit when charging Tamnaneunjeon," and added, "We plan to continue strengthening untact communication through YouTube and social networking services (SNS) and to continuously produce and present content related to environmental, social responsibility, and governance (ESG), which are social concerns and key issues."
