[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Chosun Hotel & Resort announced on the 25th that it will sell over 100 types of Lunar New Year gift sets. From today until February 10, a direct delivery service by hotel staff will also be available.
Among all holiday gifts, meat sets, which account for 60% of preferences, are offered in a wide range of prices from 250,000 KRW to 1,090,000 KRW to expand choices. Key products include the "Premium Hanwoo Set (650,000 KRW)" featuring sirloin, bulgogi, and soup cuts?popular parts preferred by households among the highest-grade Hanwoo?and the "Premium Hanwoo Steak Set (990,000 KRW)" containing sirloin, striploin, and tenderloin for steak use.
The "Bulgogi Set (390,000 KRW)" includes thickly selected short ribs paired with the chef’s special sauce, and the "Clean Ranch Hanwoo & Truffle Seasoning Set (520,000 KRW)" features the same seasoning used in the hotel restaurant along with truffle salt and truffle mustard sauce, allowing customers to enjoy the gourmet taste proposed by the hotel at home.
For seafood sets, traditional methods are preserved with the "Beopseongpo Traditional Dried Yellow Corvina (320,000 KRW)" salted with three-year-aged sun-dried salt, and the "Abalone Soy Sauce Set (390,000 KRW)" contains carefully selected top-grade abalones from Wando with excellent size and shape.
Representative restaurant menus from The Westin Chosun Seoul, the flagship hotel of Chosun Hotel & Resort, can also be enjoyed at home. The "Nines Gate Special Set (680,000 KRW)" includes 1+ grade steak available at "Nines Gate," the successor of Korea’s first Western-style restaurant "Palm Court," paired with French wine recommended by the Chosun Hotel sommelier. The "Aria Lamb Chop Set (230,000 KRW)" features the most beloved lamb chop steak from the buffet restaurant "Aria" along with the chef’s recipe.
Hotel lifestyle products are also included in the gift sets. The "Baroque Bedding Set (880,000 KRW)" is a bedding product made of 100% 60-count cotton with embroidery inspired by the exterior lines of The Westin Chosun Seoul building. The "Evelyn Bedding Set (1,060,000 KRW)" is a duvet cover set made of premium 100-count 100% cotton with sophisticated embroidery design.
Additionally, the "Chosun Hotel Towel Set (65,000 KRW)" and the "Chosun Hotel Bathrobe (130,000 KRW)" are prepared to provide a comfortable hotel-like feeling even in home bathrooms.
Cost-effective gift sets are also offered. The "Chosun Hotel Jang Story (100,000 KRW)" includes soy sauce, doenjang (fermented soybean paste), and pickles developed jointly by fermentation master Kim Myung-sung and Chosun Hotel chefs. The "Chosun Hotel Kimchi Star Set (180,000 KRW)" consists of napa cabbage kimchi, cutlassfish salted kimchi, cucumber kimchi, nabak kimchi, and altari kimchi from Chosun Hotel. The "Sesame Oil & Perilla Oil Set (130,000 KRW)" is made using traditional pressing methods to produce a savory aroma, and the "Haeundae Songjeong Seaweed & Kelp Set (90,000 KRW)" delivers the healthy taste of the sea.
