Support Eco-friendly Agricultural Product Packages Worth Up to 480,000 KRW Annually for 900 Pregnant Women... Online Registration for First 900 Applicants Starts at 10 AM on the 25th

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Seon-gap) will provide eco-friendly agricultural product packages worth up to 480,000 KRW annually to pregnant women in the area.

This project was prepared to support healthy eating habits for pregnant women and children, and to coexist with farms struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The support target is the first 900 mothers who gave birth or pregnant women since January 1 of last year, who can receive up to 480,000 KRW worth of fresh agricultural products, livestock products, and processed foods certified as eco-friendly over 12 months, including a 20% personal payment.

Usage is available from February, allowing up to 4 times per month (16 times annually) at designated online malls, where users can select agricultural products ranging from 30,000 KRW to 100,000 KRW per order and pay only 20% of the total amount.

Residents wishing to apply can register on a first-come, first-served basis from 10 a.m. on the 25th through the Ecoimall website, and those who have already been issued a Pregnancy Voucher Card do not need to submit additional documents.

If online registration is not possible, residents can visit the Gwangjin-gu Office Regional Economy Division with required documents such as a resident registration certificate and pregnancy/birth verification documents. Residents receiving similar support such as the Nutrition Plus Project are excluded from applying.

District Mayor Kim Seon-gap said, “Through this project, we aim to provide healthy food to pregnant women while offering stable sales channels to eco-friendly farms,” adding, “We hope families can comfortably receive agricultural products carefully grown by farmers at home.”
