Oh Se-hoon: "I will show you how much stronger I have become over the past 10 years"

Oh Se-hoon: "I will show you how much stronger I have become over the past 10 years" Former Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, a candidate for the Seoul mayoral by-election, visited a PC bang located in Bukgajwa-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul on the 21st to listen to the difficulties faced by self-employed business owners severely affected by COVID-19. [Asia Economy Reporter Park Cheol-eung] Former Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon expressed his thoughts ahead of the People Power Party candidate interview for the April by-election, saying, "Like a winter radish grown in the open field facing the cold wind, I will fully demonstrate how much stronger I have become over the past 10 years and how useful I have become for our society and party."

On the 24th, former Mayor Oh wrote on Facebook, "There is an interview for our party's Seoul mayor candidate starting at 2 PM," and added these remarks.

He compared himself to a "winter radish." Former Mayor Oh said, "Unlike summer radishes that grow under warm sunlight and gentle breezes, winter radishes that endure cold and chilly winds are much firmer and sweeter, making them good to eat as is and very versatile. They are used in kimchi for kimjang, do not easily become soft so they are good for making dongchimi, and when sliced thinly and dried into radish strips, they become a valuable food resource throughout the four seasons."

He continued, "As our ancestors said, 'If you eat radish in winter and ginger in summer, you won't need to see a doctor,' because they are rich in vitamins, help prevent colds, and act as natural digestive aids."
