On the same day, former Minister Park stated on her Facebook, "Yesterday, I greeted the citizens and party members, saying that I have completed my term as Minister of SMEs and Startups and returned safely. Today, I am going to pay respects to President Roh Moo-hyun and my father."
Former Minister Park shared an interview video with former President Roh’s wife, Kwon Yang-sook, from her reporter days, writing, "I vividly remember interviewing Mrs. Kwon in October 2002 during the presidential candidate period. Mrs. Kwon’s sincerity and urgency, even in her breathing, were heartfelt. I felt that sincerity and urgency were the reasons for victory."
She added, "'My husband will at least not live poorly,' the last words in the interview still move my heart today."
On the same day, former Minister Park posted a message announcing her arrival at Gimhae Airport along with a birthday congratulatory message for President Moon Jae-in. She said, "Today is President Moon Jae-in’s birthday. Many congratulations," and added, "The Republic of Korea is a country that possesses Moon Jae-in." She concluded her post by saying, "I already miss the times when I discussed policies with the president at the Cabinet meeting."
