At the untact anniversary ceremony, CEO Kim told the employees, "2021 will be a new milestone in Jeju Air's history," and urged them to embrace three things: flexibility to actively respond to change, continuous challenge, and consideration and cooperation among members.
CEO Kim said, "In a situation where uncertainty is maximized, only organizations that respond agilely can survive," and added, "All employees must be able to immediately participate and achieve results in situations that they have never experienced before."
Furthermore, Jeju Air added that to respond flexibly to the market, "we plan to downsize and readjust the fleet size and explore new possibilities in business areas that were not core competencies, such as air transportation."
He emphasized, "The challenge to create Jeju Air's unique differentiation must be continuous," and "Change is an opportunity only for those who challenge." He particularly mentioned that a large-scale investment is being made in the IT department to replace the PSS.
Finally, he said, "In the process of creating a new path amid difficulties, the only people you can trust are colleagues who share the burden of pain," and added, "Let us understand and consider each other until the day when hope is realized and travel becomes a daily routine."
