Recruitment of Participating Companies for 'Gwangjin Youth Job Creation Project Utilizing Local Assets' until 29th...Support for Youth Worker Wages Targeting SMEs and Social Economy Enterprises in Gwangjin-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) is recruiting small and medium-sized enterprises and social economy enterprises located in Gwangjin-gu to participate in the '2021 Gwangjin Youth Job Creation Project Utilizing Local Assets' until the 29th.
This project was prepared to provide young people with on-site practical opportunities at companies and to encourage them to settle in the region by creating quality youth jobs based on the local community.
The recruitment scale is about five companies, and selected companies will receive support for labor costs after separately recruiting and matching young job seekers.
The support period is a total of 10 months from March to December, and if the company continuously employs young workers, support can be extended up to two years.
The support amount is about 2 million KRW per person, including a monthly labor cost of 1.8 million KRW (90% of total labor cost) and a compensation of about 200,000 KRW according to the Gwangjin-gu living wage. Companies must bear 200,000 KRW per person monthly (10% of total labor cost) and the four major insurance premiums.
Companies wishing to participate can visit or send an email to the Gwangjin-gu Job Policy Division.
For more details, check the announcement on the Gwangjin-gu Office website or contact the Gwangjin-gu Job Policy Division.
The district will finalize the participating companies in early February after screening considering corporate capacity, financial soundness, and working environment, and then recruit young workers to participate in the project.
Mayor Kim Seon-gap said, “Through this project, we aim to encourage young talents to settle in the region and revitalize the local economy,” and added, “We hope many companies that will grow together with local youth will participate.”
